Annual Texas Navy Day Celebration

The Texas Maritime Museum presents its Annual Texas Navy Day celebration, a prestigious event dedicated to honoring the historical significance of the Texian Navy. Join us on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Texas Maritime Museum, located at 1202 Navigation Circle, Rockport, TX, for a free day of education, exploration, and celebration for all ages. Texas Navy Day, officially recognized by the Texas Legislature as the third Saturday of September, commemorates the Texian Navy’s essential role in safeguarding Texas’s coastline and maritime interests. This year’s event promises an engaging experience for all ages with various activities, including hands-on interactions, historic artifacts, tastings of traditional maritime recipes, including hard tack and grog, and other flavors.
