DESCRIPTION:The Rockport Cultural Arts District is honored to champion an exclusive exhibition featuring the personal art creations of Farrah Fawcett in January 2027.\n\nThe Rockport Cultural Arts District (RCAD) is working closely with long time friends of Farrah’s to bring this vision to a reality.\n\nRCAD has secured the approval from the Blanton Museum at UT Austin to exhibit 31 pieces of Farrah’s artwork that have been in the Museum’s basement since her death in 2009.   Only two exhibits of 15 pieces have been displayed since 2009.  The exhibition has also created an opportunity to place a bronze sculpture of Farrah in the downtown Rockport Cultural Arts District.\n\nFawcett\, a native of Corpus Christi\, visited Rockport often and worked as a model marketing Rockport\, Texas in the 1970s.
