She was named BMI&#8217\;s 2023 Dolly Parton Songwriting Award Recipient\, the 2020 Young Artist of the Year by the Texas Country Music Association\, 1 of 8 finalists for the Texas Songwriter U Class of 2022\, and her debut single &#8216\;Hot Mess&#8217\; was featured on NSAI&#8217\;s 2022 Bob Kingsley Top 40.\nMacy Dot recently graduated from Belmont University with a major in songwriting and a minor in music business.
