Ian Manseau - Sculptor Ian Manseau is a sculptor and MFA candidate in Studio Art at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, graduating in May of 2026. Originally from New Hampshire, Manseau served in the U.S. Air Force for almost 14 years, retiring at the rank of Technical Sergeant before pursuing a career in the arts. He worked as a network analyst and Military Training Instructor (Drill Sergeant), and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Manseau’s military background and medical retirement shape his approach as an artist and educator. His leadership and instructor roles in the Air Force continue to inform his teaching philosophy, emphasizing discipline, mentorship, and adaptability in the studio classroom. At Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, he has taught Sculpture I and Design II, and developed and taught AI for Artist Websites and Social Media Strategies, a 4000-level elective designed to help students build a digital presence and navigate emerging technologies. He has also led professional development workshops for Corpus Christi ISD art teachers, helping K–12 educators and their students adopt 3D scanning, digital sculpting, and other technologies.
