DESCRIPTION:Jay Boy Adams is known in the country\, rock\, and blues music world\, with collaborations with ZZ Top\, The Allman Brothers\, and many more.\n\n\nJay Boy Adams started playing in bands in Houston and Midland\, Texas. He landed the regular opening act slot for ZZ Top in 1972. After four years on the road with ZZ Top\, he hit the touring circuit for six years\, sharing concert bills with The Allman Brothers Band\, Joe Cocker\, Jackson Browne\, Marshall Tucker Band\, Bonnie Raitt\, The Kinks\, and many others. After spending 200 to 250 days a year on the road in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s\, Adams left the road to spend time with family. In 1997\, he joined Lee Roy Parnell onstage\, prompting him to return to music on the road. He toured on George Strait’s 1999 Country Music Festival\, headlined the Kerrville Folk Festi
